PADI Open Water Course
This is the course you need before moving on to further training. Armed with your PADI Open Water Diver card, this certification is recognised at dive centres worldwide and you will learn to dive safely to a depth of 18m with a buddy (12m for 10 & 11 year olds). Throughout the course you'll learn the theory of scuba diving, gain knowledge of dive equipment and practice diving skills. The course is made up of 5 theory sessions, 5 dive skill sessions in confined water and 4 open water dives in Moalboal from shore or the boat. You will be asked to complete water skills including a 10-minute float and a 200m swim. Most popular dive course in the world! A four day stay is required,Equipment is included in all our Course,PADI Open Water Diver Course incl. all equipment, dives and PADI fees.

What You Will See
You can expect to see up to 9 whale sharks including mature males, females and some juveniles. The fishermen split the whale sharks into two groups and feed them brine shrimp (their natural food) from small fishing boats. The fishermen feed the whale sharks from 6:00am to 1:00pm and lead them in front of visitors who can be sure of getting a close-up encounter with several whale sharks.

leave resort at 6:00am;
arrive at Tan-awan at 8:00am;
prepare snorkel gear;
shore entry snorkel with whale sharks;
around 10:00am depart beach for resort;
120 minute scenic drive arrive at resort noon.
The price for this excursion: 1.000 PHP/Person...minimum of 5 pax.
Snorkel some gear available from the beach owner but probably better to bring your own;
