The town of Moalboal is located on the main coastal highway far from the beaches the resorts or reached by two side streets one leading to white beach, the other side street leading to panagsama where there our several very small resosts or dive shops . to me panagsama is no resort at all but a street of dive shop followed by a restaurant followed by a bar this repeats its self more than 20 times I once hear someone speak that had taken a room at panagsama as its like trying to sleep in a cock fight

My view is that many of the resorts at panagsama Are affiliated With over seas travel tours and booked in advance , theirs no backing out, it all paid in advance,We have often had people come here to our resort from their even if they were to lose there money by doing so.

In the midst of lush tropical vegetation in the mountains near Matutinao you can find the refreshingly cool, crystal clear Kawasan Falls. They are probably the best waterfalls on Cebu, and the natural pools are great for swimming & rafting (P300/hr). This idyllic place is a good starting point for mountain treks. There is a P10 entrance fee, and they charge P500 for the use of the tables, even if you order a drink with the owner.

Kawasan has three waterfalls. The first one is mainly the largest of the three, and is usually the most crowded. An uphill climb for fifteen minutes will take you to the second falls, and another, to the third. You may bring in food, or buy from the resort's restaurants. Cottages and tables are also available for rent, as well as rooms for overnight stay. You may rent a raft to take you around the "pool" or for a refreshing "shower massage" under the falling water. Life vests are also available for a very affordable price.
